About Trish Cook

WA Labor for Bullwinkel

Meet Trish

I’m Trish Cook, Labor’s Candidate for Bullwinkel at the next Federal Election.

I’m a local nurse, Mundaring councillor, and Hills resident for almost 20 years.

My career in nursing has shaped my values of compassion and fairness.

I raised my family locally and I understand the pressures of balancing the household budget.

Cost of living relief is the Albanese Labor Government’s number one priority, delivering:

  • Tax cuts to every Australian worker
  • $700 in power bill credits for every WA household
  • A freeze on the cost of PBS medicines for every Australian
  • Cheaper childcare for working families.

Working as a nurse and midwife across our regions I’ve seen firsthand the vital role Medicare plays providing healthcare across WA.

Access to healthcare should depend on your Medicare card, not your credit card – and I know only the Labor Party will protect and strengthen Medicare.

I’m an active community volunteer, leading the charge for the development of skateparks and community gardens to improve amenity and social spaces for residents.

As the Deputy Shire President of Mundaring and councillor for seven years, I have experience in delivering for my community. I’m excited to hit the ground running and deliver for Bullwinkel.
