My Background

I’m Trish Cook, Federal Member for Bullwinkel.
  

I’m a local nurse, Mundaring councillor, and Hills resident for almost 20 years.    

My career in nursing has shaped my values of compassion and fairness.    

I raised my family locally and I understand the pressures of balancing the household budget.

Working as a nurse and midwife across our regions I’ve seen firsthand the vital role Medicare plays providing healthcare across WA.
  

 Access to healthcare should depend on your Medicare card, not your credit card – and I am proud to be part of the Labor Party that created and strengthened Medicare.  

I’m an active community volunteer, leading the charge for the development of skateparks and community gardens to improve amenity and social spaces for residents.   

As the former Deputy Shire President of Mundaring and councillor for 8 years, I have experience in delivering for my community. I’m excited to hit the ground running and deliver for Bullwinkel.
